Over the next two decades, the largest transfer of private wealth in history will take place — and women will be at the center of it. The Shift is a half-day gathering designed to help women navigate this moment with clarity and confidence — and to connect directly with the local female candidates working to shape our community’s future.

The program begins with a one-hour performance by Elizabeth Hand and Michael Glavin, followed by a focused conversation on financial stewardship and civic engagement. We will then welcome every woman appearing on the June ballot who chooses to attend to briefly introduce herself, share her priorities, and speak to how community support can strengthen both her campaign and our local leadership pipeline. Our goal is to create a thoughtful, nonpartisan space where women can hear directly from candidates, ask questions, build relationships, and better understand how their voices and resources can make a local impact.
