LWVGC Women’s History Day program On March 22, at 1 pm!

Despite the fact that women are registered to vote in higher numbers than men, the number of women in elected positions in Ohio is historically low. This program will explore the reasons behind this trend and share some ideas for how to increase the number of women running for and winning elected office.
One hundred years ago, Ohio was at the forefront of women’s representation and for
decades Ohio was considered the bellwether for American elections. Where does the
state stand now?
