Matriots announce their endorsement of Justice Brunner
Columbus – Today The Matriots PAC proudly endorses Justice Jennifer Brunner for Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court.
“Throughout her career Justice Brunner has demonstrated her commitment to all Ohioans and we are proud to support her candidacy,” said Emily Quick Schriver, Matriots CEO. “It is crucial that we work together to elect women who create an Ohio in which we can all prosper. The time to act is now.”
The Matriots PAC endorses candidates who demonstrate a commitment to core values by ensuring women’s economic empowerment, equity and independence, dominion over their bodies, access to education, and the ability to live and rear children in a healthy, safe, and prosperous environment. Justice Brunner has exemplified each of these values while serving on Ohio’s highest court. Decisions she has authored focus on equity and fairness while balancing the appropriate role of the courts.
The Ohio Supreme Court’s rulings impact the lives of everyday citizens and, therefore, it is critical that the justices reflect the people. Through Justice Brunner’s leadership as Chief Justice, she will continue to ensure all Ohioans–including Ohio’s women–are treated fairly under the Ohio Constitution.
