Wendy Strickler Biederman life passion has been education. With her vast educational and professional achievements working in child development and various educational organizations, Wendy has a reputation for “putting kids first, being collaborative in decision making and getting the job done.” Wendy currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Reading Science at Mount St. Joseph University, teaching undergraduate and graduate education and reading courses. This gives her a unique perspective from the staffing side which makes her a valuable advocate for educators. She previously has worked with the Forest Hills School District and understands the challenges in the District first-hand. With her Ph.D. In school psychology, Wendy is uniquely prepared to serve as a member of the School Board. As she explains, “I have knowledge of child development, the science of learning, and effective instructional practices.” While this is Wendy’s first political campaign, she notes she is responding to “a need for democratically-minded, logical, collaborative individuals to help lead our District.”
