Wendy Strickler Biederman’s life passion has been education. With her vast educational and professional achievements working in child development and various educational organizations, Wendy has a reputation for “putting kids first, being collaborative in decision-making, and getting the job done.” Wendy is an Assistant Professor of Reading Science at Mount St. Joseph University, teaching undergraduate and graduate education and reading courses. This gives her a unique perspective from the staffing side, which makes her a valuable advocate for educators. She previously worked with the Forest Hills School District and understands their challenges first-hand. With her Ph.D. in school psychology, Wendy is uniquely prepared to serve as a member of the Forest Hills Board of Education. As she explains, “I have knowledge of child development, the science of learning, and effective instructional practices.” Her unique knowledge will ensure that she serves the Forest Hills community to the best of her ability while maintaining Matriots values in the process.
