Wenda Sheard is an attorney and mediator with a Ph.D. in political science. She is ready to represent her beloved district in the Ohio House of Representatives. Sheard first moved to Athens County after law school for a job and to fulfill her dream of rural living. Sheard and her family have lived around the world including Wisconsin, where they opened an environmental boarding school; China, where they opened a high school for international students; Connecticut, where Sheard researched educational and workforce pipelines of people with disabilities under a U.S. Department of Labor grant; and, London where she taught and dorm-parented at an international school.

Sheard remains dedicated to education, environmental advocacy, and community service and will bring that vision to the statehouse. The Matriots are proud to endorse Wenda Sheard for Ohio House of Representatives, District 94.
