With a background in business, Welcome Stokien will use her knowledge in budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making to ensure Chillicothe’s growth is both sustainable and beneficial for all residents. 

Over the years, Welcome Stokien has dedicated herself to community leadership, business development, and public service. She is the founder of a homeschool organization and an active member of a local nonprofit that supports working families facing financial hardship. 

Stokien’s goal as a Chillicothe City Council Member is to create an environment where families feel secure, businesses can thrive, and every resident has a voice in shaping the city’s future. She is committed to addressing homelessness, strengthening infrastructure, and promoting smart, responsible development and will work to embody Matriots values in office.
