Rev. Vanessa R. Cummings is a dynamic leader and community activist with over 25 years of experience in parking, transportation, and mobility. She serves on IPMI’s Advisory Council and has been a featured speaker at both regional and national conferences. 

Vanessa is deeply committed to empowering communities through education on political issues, mentoring, and advocacy. As an ordained pastor in the AME Church, she is actively involved in social justice efforts, including serving on the NAACP, Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services Board, Greater Hamilton Coalition Against Hate, and as Social Action Chair for the Ohio-South Ohio Conference AMEC. 

Her work focuses on uplifting communities and advocating for equity, with her guiding principle being, “What matters most is not the sermon you preach, but the sermon you live.”
