Candidates
Tracey Tackett
Clark County Commissioner
Southwest Ohio, Countywide
Born and raised in Clark County, Tracey Tackett is a small business owner, advocate, wife, and mother committed to improving her community for all citizens as Clark County Commissioner. She believes more women involved in leadership will lead to positive change for our communities and knows she can be a positive force for change in Ohio. Prior to starting her business in 2014, Sip & Dipity Paint Bar in downtown Springfield, Tracey worked for several years in corporate and nonprofit marketing. Tracey is a first-generation college graduate with a degree in Organizational Leadership and Political Science, and plans to continue her education by pursuing a Masters in Public Policy and Leadership. Following the loss of her daughter in 2019, Tracey began working with multiple organizations, including the Epilepsy Foundation and the Christina and Ryan Day Foundation with Nationwide Children’s Hospital Mental Health movement. She now serves as a fierce advocate for epilepsy research and suicide awareness.
More interested in serving people than playing politics, Tracey is running her campaign as an independent candidate; one who recognizes that neither of the major parties has all of the answers, and who has a long history of working with people from both parties to serve the needs of people in our county.
Tracey Tackett For CommissionerI’m just a girl from Ohio who believes more women involved in leadership will lead to positive change from the bottom to the top. I believe I have a real opportunity to help local issues representing all, but I also believe my example will help improve community culture which will grow outside the borders of my county, but our state.
