Warren City Council, Ward 5
Northeast Ohio, Local
As an active member of community-based ministries and organizations, Tiffany Stanford understands the need for more people with a heart and mind for service at the table where decisions are being made. As a resident of an underfunded city, Tiffany sees the need for legislators that uplift and empower marginalized groups. In her current role as the manager of her family-owned business, 5 Grands Boutique, as well as the First Lady of Progressive Baptist Church, Tiffany has demonstrated her commitment to ensuring that women’s voices are heard. In her role at her church, Tiffany has worked hard to ensure women can serve in leadership positions that they are often denied access to in other Baptist churches. Tiffany has furthered her commitment to supporting personal dominion over one’s body by patronizing Planned Parenthood for her healthcare. Despite having the insurance benefits to go to other providers, Tiffany believes this is a small way she can help remove the stigma from the organization. Her current roles, coupled with her commitment to service and community, reflect Tiffany’s dedication to Matriots values, the wellbeing of her community, and her resolve to ensure that its citizens receive the necessary attention and care from their leaders.
I plan to be an informed and proactive council member who will lead with compassion and common sense.
