As a currently appointed Toledo City Councilwoman, Dr. Tiffany Preston-Whitman has already laid a strong foundation for creating meaningful change for the city. Running for re-election, Preston-Whitman wants to continue her efforts to advocate for legislation and investment to make Toledo a more fair and equitable city. She has prioritized youth and economic development throughout her career because she knows that’s the key to women’s financial well-being, health, and safety. As the Council co-lead for Toledo’s disparity study, Preston-Whitman has the opportunity to address discrimination and barriers for women and minority contractors.
