Sherry Hamlin, a lifelong resident of Loveland, is running for City Council to serve the community of Loveland. With a strong ability to analyze complex situations, Hamlin is committed to implementing responsible development policies that benefit all residents. With over 40 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, Hamlin brings valuable skills in managing large-scale projects, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring accountability which are qualities that will serve her well in local government.
Furthermore, Hamlin is deeply involved in community service. She serves as Chair of the Parks and Recreation Board and is an active member of the Downtown Master Plan and Comprehensive Master Plan Committees. Along with being on her neighborhood HOA Board and committee for the PRIDE employee resource group through her workplace. These roles have strengthened her ability to listen to community needs and craft creative, proactive solutions. As a City Council member, Hamlin will be dedicated to making decisions that reflect the best interests of the community through transparent communication. She plans to make initiatives that enhance Loveland’s recreational parks as they are a vital space for families and residents.
