Shanette Mobley Strickland is a proven leader, business owner, and advocate for transparency and fiscal responsibility. As President of Reynoldsburg City Council, she has championed collaboration, smart growth, and inclusive policies. In 2019, she made history as one of the first three African American women elected to Council.

Now running for City Auditor, Shanette brings over 25 years in information technology and 12 years in project management. She plans to strengthen financial oversight and ensure responsible, transparent use of city resources.

A first-generation college graduate, Shanette holds a B.S. in Technical Management from DeVry and an MBA from Franklin University. She co-owns The Source Group LLC, a tech and digital media firm, with her husband, Chris.

Committed to community service and equity, she’s active in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Charms Inc., and youth initiatives. Shanette lives in Reynoldsburg with her husband of 24 years and their two sons, Chris II and Shon.
