Schuyler Beckwith is seeking a seat on Oregon City Council. Although running for office for the first time, she is well versed in politics and creating change. With her roots now in Toledo, Schuyler is an Administrative Assistant and Records Manager for Lucas County Emergency Services. She wants to initiate further development of Oregon, shaping it into a healthier, safer, more prosperous place to live for all. She envisions helping craft the next Master Plan, including a new Town Center. Spurring economic growth is at the forefront of Schuyler’s plan. She understands the importance of economic independence and would like to create a “small business incubator” for the City of Oregon by partnering with organizations, making resources more accessible to residents.
