Sandra Williams’ extensive elected experience poises her a strong candidate for the Mayor of Cleveland. Williams, a current Ohio State Senator, has spoken out against policies that interfere with healthcare decisions between women and their physicians. A believer in familial success, Williams will push for the development of early childhood education programs to work towards closing the achievement gap. If elected, she will work to establish an Office of Community Wealth to leverage the full power of City Hall to support women entrepreneurs and business owners of color. Williams has spent time strengthening her community through working with various local organizations and is recognized and respected in Cleveland. She is passionate, skilled, and eager to make history as Cleveland’s first Black woman to serve as Mayor.
