Rachel Loza
Cuyahoga Falls City Council, Ward 1
Northeast Ohio, Local
Councilmember Rachel Loza is ready to keep making a difference in her next term on the Cuyahoga Falls City Council. Councilmember Loza wants to keep Cuyahoga Falls a welcoming and inclusive community, especially for young families. As the second youngest person on City Council and only young mother on council, she wants to represent all families as their voice for concerns and values.
During her time on City Council, she has upgraded the city parks, introduced more activities for the community at the parks, and brought a community garden to the city. Councilmember Loza helped to pass the Welcoming Workforce Coalition legislation in Cuyahoga Falls earlier this Summer. This welcoming workforce coalition works to connect our local businesses with new transplants to the city of Cuyahoga Falls. When re-elected, she would like to see the revitalization for areas of our city, continue inviting businesses to relocate here and create more jobs for our transplant community, and to continue to have the most well-trained public safety officials in Summit County.
Re-Elect Rachel LozaI’ve always been passionate about this community. Between volunteering for Girls on the Run and various PTA events, when it comes to making an impact in my community, I’m all in. When the opportunity to serve my community in public service presented itself, I knew I felt called to serve. As a mother of three young children, as an advocate for those less fortunate, and as a progressive, I want to continue to make forward progress for my children and for all of our children.
