Rachael Dorothy is passionate about service, learning opportunities, and Worthington. Since graduating from the University of Dayton with a degree in mechanical engineering, she has become an experienced sustainable design specialist with a particular interest in improving neighborhoods to make them more environmentally friendly. She is active in many community organizations and highly motivated to improve her community. Previously, Dorothy served on Worthington City Council for 10 years but after a 2 year break, Dorothy is ready to use her professional expertise and personal passion to better Worthington. Focusing on equity and independence, as well as healthy and safe neighborhoods, Dorothy aims to “create a more livable city for everyone”, including increased housing and transportation options.
