Nora Katzenberger is a Lakewood City Schools Board of Education member, lifelong public school advocate, and proud graduate of Parma City Schools. She holds a degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and brings a professional background in communications, fundraising, and creative leadership.
A dedicated community volunteer, Nora worked in New York City for The Bank of New York and NYU’s Stern School of Business before returning to Cleveland to lead fundraising efforts at University Hospitals, particularly for Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. She later served as Web Creative Manager at Progressive Insurance, managing creative teams and learning the value of empowering people to take risks—something she applies in her school board service.
Nora has led successful school levy campaigns, served in PTA leadership, and volunteers with the Lakewood Foundation and LakewoodAlive. Inspired by her late father’s service on the school board, she is committed to strong public schools, equity, and community engagement. She and her husband are raising two daughters in Lakewood Public Schools. In office, Nora will continue to advocate for Matriots’ values and help strengthen her community.
