Nabila Babar is an experienced and thoughtful physician fighting to make a difference in her county. Dr. Babar was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States at age 25, and has been a proud U.S. citizen since 2001. Her 27-years of experience working in mental health and addiction has deeply informed her campaign and why she is running for office. When elected, Dr. Babar will continue to work towards removing the stigma around mental health and addiction, will fight to decriminalize addiction, offer better treatment for those in need, and provide a second chance for her constituents. As a physician, Dr. Babar understands the importance of public health education and the right to choose. She is also focused on establishing a living wage and fighting for sustainable policies that keep her community safe and healthy.
