Monique Lampke

Monique was initially elected to Bexley City Council in 2017, with over 20 years of litigation experience in the public, private, and academic sectors. She previously served as the Chair of the Safety and Health Committee and currently chairs the Judiciary and Strategic Committee, overseeing quasi-judicial functions. Her passions include her children, volleyball, the Golden State Warriors, and volunteering as a Wish Grantor for the Ohio Make-A-Wish Foundation.
She received her B.A. in psychology and political science from Stanford University and her J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law.
She created the Bexley Youth Service Week, which mobilizes and celebrates children, families, and residents who want to improve the world through community service, supporting food pantries, pet adoption/rescue, senior citizen support, homelessness, and first responders. She also organized a series of awareness and education trainings for Bexley residents, addressing important community issues, including human trafficking and safety awareness. She is a member of the Bexley Women’s Club and the Bexley Citizens Police Academy and Alumni Association and has previously taught at Capital University, Ohio Dominican University, and the University of Dayton College of Law. She has lived in Bexley since 200,0 and her children attend Bexley’s outstanding schools.
