Molly Schneider
Aurora Board of Education
Northeast Ohio, Local
Running for Aurora Board of Education, Molly Schneider believes in the excellence of the schools, and she wants to see that maintained for every student in the district. With over 15 years of experience in education, Molly is currently a Social Studies Teacher at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School.
When elected, Molly wants more community trust placed on the school board. Based upon her experience in education and deep roots in the community, Molly would be a trusted member who the community feels best represents them and reflects who they are. Public service is vital to Molly, and she believes now is the time to get involved. With deep community roots, three generations of Molly’s family have lived in the community and have worked in Aurora City Schools for almost 75 years. Both her parents and grandparents devoted most of their careers in service to the schools. This family history uniquely qualifies Molly for the Aurora Board of Education. When elected, Molly will ensure that students, especially those in marginalized groups, do not feel targeted by school policies that are not always applied fairly. Molly will ensure that the school curriculum and learning materials are appropriate for all students and do not limit or restrict the representation of marginalized groups. Molly’s passion for equality in education is why Matriots is proud to endorse her.
My father and grandfather have been involved in local politics here, and I look forward to continuing this tradition. I am confident that Aurora City Schools provided me with a solid foundation and are providing my children with the same foundation. I am running for the school board to ensure that every child in the district receives this same foundation.
