Elected to UA City Council in 2017, Michele Montavon Hoyle brought with her 30 years of municipal finance experience in Central Ohio. Michelle has been a member of UA City Council during a tumultuous time, keeping Upper Arlington financially strong during the pandemic. She also participated in developing a plan to build a new community center without raising taxes, which she plans to manage in a cost-effective manner given her financial expertise. If elected for a 2nd term, Michele plans to work to preserve UA amenities, improve resident safety, safeguard the city’s financial stability, propose investigation of rental discrimination towards single parents, and open the lines of communication between residents and council members.
