Meredith Glick Brinegar
Bellbrook City Council
Southwest Ohio, Local
Dr. Meredith Brinegar is dedicated to the City of Bellbrook, where she has served as the Chief of Board Zoning Appeals and Property Review Commission for more than four years. Meredith and her family were drawn to Bellbrook about 10-years ago for its small-town feel and quality schools. Meredith is active with Sugarcreek Cares, and serves as a Girls Scout Troop Leader. As a business owner and practicing clinical psychologist, Meredith is equipped to serve on Bellbrook City Council. She hopes to address the relational health of her city through the creation of a Community Culture & Relations Board, building a Community Dialogue Program to promote inclusive conversations, add community-informed social gatherings, enhance the Volunteer Bellbrook initiative, and offer childcare at city meetings.
Roads, Rivers, and Relationships are critical to Meredith’s platform. The focus on Bellbrook’s roads and rivers will address fixing major infrastructure problems resulting in roads and bridges washing away as a result of severe weather, climate change, and increased building development. Meredith knows that protecting Bellbrook’s watershed and ensuring clean water is crucial for healthy families throughout the community. Meredith is driven to build relationships to heal the Bellbrook community following the long journey to pass its school levy. She will work to unite her community and collaborate through crucial conversations in order to ensure a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for Bellbrook residents.
