Melody Joy Hart sees the need for compassionate and collaborative leadership in local government; that is why she is running for Cleveland Heights’ inaugural Mayor. Hart is a current member of Cleveland Heights City Council and was the top vote-getter in the 2019 election. Hart ran for public office because she believed when women take leadership roles – families do better. As a former executive and consultant, Hart has the skills set to transform Cleveland Heights from a city manager form of government to a mayoral form of government. When elected, Hart will support public schools, housing, and economic development.
