Meghan George has served on Lakewood City Council since 2017. During this time Meghan has fought for policies that positively impact women, such as paid paternal leave. If elected, she will continue fighting to get her legislation passed. In her former career, and on city council, serving others has been at the core of Meghan’s career. Meghan has lived in Lakewood her entire life.

In 2020 Meghan will begin her work as Mayor of Lakewood.
