Megan Czako Reamsnyder is a lifelong Westerville resident. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of City Council and is a dedicated public servant with a passion for building strong, connected communities. Since joining Council in 2022, Councilmember Reamsnyder has earned a reputation for being a prepared and collaborative leader with a residents-first mindset.
Megan’s service extends far beyond City Hall. With a degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University, Megan brings a people-centered approach to leadership. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Grants and Corporate Engagement at Otterbein University, where she helps secure funding and build partnerships while strengthening the connection between the city and university. Megan has held leadership roles with the Rotary Club of Westerville, The Big Bus, Cultivating Success Fund, Whittier PTA, and more. She’s a familiar face at community events, from organizing the 4th of July Parade to volunteering at the Farmers Market and Uptown Festivals.
Megans council appointments have included the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Uptown Westerville Inc., the Joint Economic Development Board, and the Ohio Municipal Electric Association. Her experience, expertise, and strong relationships across the community make her a trusted and effective advocate for Westerville’s future. Megan lives in Westerville with her two children and their dog. The Matriots are thrilled to endorse Megan as she continues to enrich the lives of her constituents and stand up for Matriots’ values.
