As Columbus City Auditor, Megan Kilgore knows the cost of inequality in Columbus, in our state, and in the nation. In her first term, Megan has consistently shown what policies mean in terms of dollars and cents. Megan believes in optimizing our economy, and that starts with putting women in positions to earn and learn. While programs like subsidized child care, paid family leave, early childhood education, and early release do not fall directly under the Auditor’s office, Megan will influence policymaking decisions by showing what action/inaction could cost the taxpayers.  Megan will continue to seek ways to uphold the Matriots values – through daily actions with the ultimate goal of creating a truly even playing field for women in the City of Columbus.
