Maureen Washock understands the need for women in politics, especially when our voices and interests are being overlooked. As a registered nurse, mother, and state lead volunteer for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America since 2015, Maureen believes strongly that women need a seat at the table to ensure someone is advocating for these interests.

Maureen is ready to lift others up as she seeks election to the Mayfield Board of Education: “A vote for me is not just a vote for my seat at the table, but for me to open the table to more voices.”  To the Mayfield Board of Education, she will bring her strong belief that every child deserves equitable access to an excellent education, and she plans to demonstrate strong female leadership through her example.
