Dr. Mary E. Rice has spent her life supporting her students’ and their educational journeys. She has worked tirelessly to ensure that the students in her district are represented and cared for. When re-elected to the East Cleveland Board of Education, Dr. Rice will continue to uphold the values of equity and independence. Through her work to restart the East Cleveland League of Women Voters and other women’s empowerment organizations, she has solidified herself as a champion for both education and women’s rights.

Dr. Rice currently serves as the Board’s president and will continue to fight to make sure that the students in her district have a voice and be a champion for Matriots values in her community.
