While Councilmember Brown has held many roles during her time in Berea, they all share one commonality: helping others. After working in the banking industry for 40 years, she also has a keen understanding of the role finances play in local politics. Councilmember Brown has also expressed that she utilizes her experience with corporate work to both mentor young women and advocate for their safety in the workplace. Beyond banking, during her four previous terms on Berea City Council, Councilmember Brown, a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities and wheelchair users, spearheaded an initiative to make Berea an accessible city for all. 

In running for re-election in 2025, Councilmember Brown intends to continue to lead by example for her Berea community, with women at the start of their careers especially in mind. With ample connections, decades of experience, and lots of love for her city, Councilmember Brown is determined to make an impact on the Berea community.
