Lynn Cooper, candidate for Montgomery County Clerk of Courts, brings 22 years of experience and deep ties to the Miami Valley. Currently the Court Administrator for the Montgomery County Probate Court, she moved to Dayton in 1999 and re-entered the workforce in 2001 as a Deputy Clerk. She later led the implementation of the county-wide electronic filing system and served as Chief Deputy Clerk and Chief Deputy in the Treasurer’s Office before her current role. 

Administrator Cooper holds a B.S. in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University and an M.S. in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. A Certified Court Manager and recipient of the Judicial Staff Recognition Award, she champions “Ethical Leadership, Fiscal Responsibility, and Dedicated Public Service.” Administrator Cooper is excited to continue her public service journey and serve the people of Montgomery County.
