Passionate about all things Massillon, Lynda Blankenship is different from your traditional candidate. Using her lifetime of knowledge and experience to improve the lives of the citizens of Massillon, Lynda Blankenship is running for Massillon City Council, Ward 3. Known in Massillon for saving and restoring the 108-year-old Lincoln Movie Theatre, a true national treasure. Her experience in preservation makes her knowledgeable in the battle to keep the Historic Downtown. Lynda is an ideas person who also finds solutions. When elected, Lynda seeks to remove the barriers created by generational poverty in her community by using skills she learned working to help people find and keep quality jobs. She has spent her life fighting for women’s rights, and we know that Lynda will continue thus fight in office.
