As an educator, businesswoman, parent, and longtime resident of Upper Arlington, Lori Trent uniquely qualifies for the Upper Arlington City Schools Board of Education. With two sons graduating from Upper Arlington High School and attending The Ohio State University, Lori has seen firsthand how unique the school system is.  When re-elected, Lori will continue to work to ensure that the schools remain a model of excellence in the community and that the children are prepared for the future. During her term, she has prioritized listening and communicating with the residents.  

As Board President, Lori leads a fantastic group of teachers and education professionals to advance innovative solutions. In her three years serving on the UA Board of Education, she has demonstrated dedication to the students, innovative and creative thinking, and the ability to build a collaborative, respectful environment. Child-centered proven educational data and the strategic objectives set in motion by the staff and parents of the district will continue to guide each decision Lori makes. She will never waiver from her commitment to putting students first.
