Liz George Stump
Upper Arlington Board of Education
Central Ohio, Local
A resident of Upper Arlington for 14 years, Liz George Stump and her husband, have two children attending UA schools—realizing that a solid foundational education sets a child up for a successful future and believes in school leadership supporting teachers and staff. This is why she is running for the Upper Arlington Board of Education. As a graduate of Leadership UA, Liz continues to develop her understanding of community connections and resources that can continually work together to better UA schools. When elected, Liz will help create a culture where students and families can promote a sense of understanding and respect for themselves and others while working to address discrimination within the school district. She wants her community to strive for operational excellence, especially when communicating with families about the needs of students and disciplinary responsibility. Liz has spent the last year advocating at the local school board meetings to ensure that a vocal minority does not force leaders to limit access to knowledge through book bans in the community. With her passion for education, we are confident that Liz will instill Matriots values into the district of Upper Arlington.
Liz George Stump for UA Board of EducationI understand the importance of collaborative decision-making and dare to fight for what I believe is right for our students and families. As a board of education member, I will help build a school system that anticipates and adapts to changing trends nationally and worldwide.
