Building physical and figurative bridges is what Lisa Havermann does. In her life, she has been both a coalition creator and a civil and environmental engineer. Aiming to bring her expertise and desire for finding common ground to Rocky River City Council, Lisa believes that most in the community desire the same things: safe neighborhoods, affordable education, racial justice, and a clean environment for future generations. She will promote female economic empowerment by being an ally to women and minority business owners, aim to increase gender diversity in the police and fire departments, and amplify the voice of Rocky River women.

Bringing a technical engineering background to the table, Lisa is uniquely qualified to evaluate the host of infrastructure projects that come before the City Council. She plans to promote environmentally friendly, fiscally sound outcomes while maintaining the current high level of city services.

Lisa is aiming to make Rocky River City Council more reflective of the makeup of Rocky River itself. A strong voice for female empowerment and involved in the Society of Women Engineers, Rocky River Junior Women’s Club, and Rocky River PTA, Lisa is well prepared to serve Ward 1 with a fresh perspective and unique understanding of how to build bridges to bring us together.
