Councilwoman Lauren McNally is currently serving the City of Youngstown’s 5th Ward, and was first elected in 2015. With 7 years of experience as a public servant for her community, she is ready to continue to serve Ohioans. Councilwoman McNally has a background in journalism on various NPR stations and newspapers and is currently working in marketing and public relations. She is deeply committed to her community, serving on various community boards, including American Red Cross and Women’s Junior League of Youngstown. On City Council, she serves on the Committees for General Improvements, Public Utilities, Legislation, Public Health, Housing Community & Economic Development, and Education. Once elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, Councilwoman McNally hopes to build educational coalitions and advocate for workforce development. Through her deep connection to and understanding of her community, we know that Councilwoman McNally will bring a valuable perspective to the Statehouse, alongside a clear commitment to Matriots values.
