Representative Latyna M. Humphrey is running for Ohio Senate District 15. A single mother, two-time published author, and nationally recognized speaker, Humphrey is a strong advocate for equity, opportunity, and reform.

Before becoming a Representative, Humphrey served as Community Outreach Coordinator for Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano and later as Bailiff to the Honorable Judge Carl A. Aveni, II, at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.

During her time in the House, Humphrey has prioritized criminal justice reform, workforce development, housing access, and childcare affordability. She successfully passed seven bills into law, more than any other member of the Ohio House Democratic Caucus. Her most notable legislation, House Bill 50, became Ohio’s first law to eliminate collateral housing barriers for individuals with prior justice involvement.
