LaToya Dowdell-Burger is running for Groveport Madison Board of Education because she is ready to be the change she wishes to see. As an 11-year United States Army veteran, LaToya is no stranger to standing up for the values that are important to her and her community. LaToya has over 16 years of experience in human resources, workplace development, health administration, business development, and media/public affairs that she is ready to use to make a difference for not only her children, but all children in her community. After applying to the Groveport School District Board of Education in 2020, LaToya was unanimously voted in and within six months was nominated and selected as vice president. LaToya is a strong advocate for education, youth diversity, and inclusion and will use these values to guide her as a great choice for the Groveport Madison Board of Education.
