Krystal Phillips believes it’s time for progressive change in Springfield, and her candidacy for City Commission represents just that. As a prominent local leader involved with the Clark County Democratic Party, professional in the local school district as a special education administrator, and advocate with the National Council of Negro Women and Promise Neighborhoods, Krystal will not only bring strong ideas but strong experience to the City Commission. She believes fiercely that women-centered policies benefit the entire community and intends to promote just that if elected this Fall. Increasing access to healthy food options and expanding safe spaces in the city are just a few initiatives Krystal plans to start if her campaign is successful.
