Kristy Meyer
Westerville Board of Education
Central, Local
Kristy Meyer has been an advocate all her life. While she fights for protecting water resources in her day job, she spends her free time advocating for women and children. As a mom of two children in the Westerville City Schools, she has first-hand experience with the schools’ successes and challenges. She understands that students need to be taught core subjects like history and science, the schools need spaces for all children to learn, and teachers and staff in the district need additional training and resources. Kristy is focused on ensuring fair treatment for all students within the school district and she intends to draw on her strong background to bring diverse viewpoints together, host conversations, and brainstorm action toward solutions. Kristy attended Westerville schools, and now she is positioned to be an impactful board member due to her unique skills for crafting and influencing policy at all levels of government.
