Kristen Scalise is dedicated to maintaining her commitment to excellence and accuracy in Summit County when re-elected as Summit County Fiscal Officer. Kristen was first elected as Summit County Fiscal Officer in 2011 and has continued to serve Summit County throughout the years keeping her promise to modernize operations, introduce new technology, and implement innovative programs to improve the quality of life for residents and property owners.
Kristen’s skills as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner make her an extremely qualified leader for Summit County Fiscal Officer. Throughout her time in office, Kristen received many awards including the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting and the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction. In 2016 Kristen also received national recognition from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) earning the Outstanding CPA in Government Impact Award.
The Matriots recognize Fiscal Officer Kristen Scalise as a strong advocate for a healthy, safe, and secure community. Since taking over the position of Summit County Fiscal Officer in 2011 Kristen has been the moving force for establishing the Summit County Land Bank in 2012 and has been its Chairperson since inception. Furthermore, in 2013, Kristen placed Summit County among the first in the State of Ohio to offer an identification card to honorably discharged military veterans and has benefitted more than 8,700 Summit County veterans. The Matriots are proud to endorse Kristen Scalise for Summit County Fiscal Officer and look forward to seeing what Kristen will accomplish when re-elected.
