Kimberly Minor is running for New Albany City Council because she wants to increase representation for women of color in positions of power in New Albany. A merchandising and branding entrepreneur, Kimberly has extensive experience in creating solutions for a variety of stakeholders. Her New Albany-based business, Bumbershoot, provides cultural and market insights to help companies increase diversity across their brand, content, and customer experience, underscoring her commitment to both creating an equitable community and growing the economy of New Albany. If elected, Kimberly will maximize connections between businesses and the community and work to build a more inclusive New Albany where all residents feel safe and welcome.
