Kendra Mapp is a change maker who understands the complexity of accessible education. When Kendra is elected, she will be an asset to the Cincinnati Board of Education. Although a first time candidate, she is no stranger to servant leadership in her community and is eager to take this next step. Kendra has served as an educator in the elementary and high schools, lead counselor, Director of Counseling Services, and contracted therapist.

Having realized the impact her own community has had on her development, Kendra wants to address systemic barriers by serving on the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education. She will work to adopt a comprehensive and equitable mental health network system for the district. Kendra’s strong emphasis on the importance of student’s wellness aligns with the Matriots’ values.
