Not one to settle for the status quo, Katie Eadicicco threw her hat in the ring in 2019 for Reading City Council when she was frustrated with the inaction of complacent long-term members. After a successful first term and as the only female incumbent, Katie is seeking reelection to continue improving the city’s economic development and to provide a voice to the citizens of Reading. Her commitment to communication and transparency is evident from her willingness to share information and engage with community members in accessible spaces such as social media. A life-long Reading resident, Katie and her husband, John, have 3 children: Brendan, a graduate of Reading High School, and Vincent and Natalie who both attend Reading Community Schools.  Katie says: “I want to be a voice and . . . speak for the citizens who often feel unheard. I want to work to improve our economic development and make Reading the city that I feel like our citizens deserve.”
