Growing up in a working-class family with her three siblings in which her father was an electrician and her mother worked in a factory, Kathy Telban understands the importance of family. In addition, she understands that at the heart of every campaign is a person with a passion for serving, and this understanding has fueled her decision to run for city council. Always living a purpose-driven life, she understands the value of a strong community and, if elected, will help ensure that Mayfield Heights remains a community that young and old members can feel proud to live and engage in.
