Kathy Dunn

County Recorder Kathy Dunn, graduated from Waverly High School in 1971 and Scioto Technical College in 1975 with a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. She earned her Real Estate License in 1991 but has been a full-time County Recorder since her election in 1997.
Recorder Dunn’s work experience includes 22 years as General Manager of Tri-County Vending Service and Wholesale Electronics Inc. She was a part-time Realtor and served as Chillicothe City Treasurer from 1986 to 1997. Currently serving her 6th term as Ross County Recorder, she has been active in various committees and associations, including the Ohio Recorder’s Association, where she served as State President in 2005.
Recorder Dunn has worked on significant legislative issues such as removing social security numbers from recorded documents, creating the Veterans Identification Card, and preventing misleading solicitations for deed records. She remains dedicated to public service and effective record management.
Kathy DunnI believe everyone regardless of their sexuality, race or religion has a right to their personal freedom. I believe that we all have a responsibility to educate all children in a safe public-school environment, provide adequate health care and make sure that all children get what they need to succeed in life.
