Kari Armbruster, a Xavier University alumna and Cincinnati resident, is running for a seat on the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education. With a proven track record in corporate sustainability, Armbruster was a big part of launching Zero Hunger | Zero Waste which is a national initiative that helped to sharpen her expertise in systems change, cross-sector collaboration, and community-driven solutions. 

Armbruster is a passionate and action-oriented leader who believes that when schools align education with real-world purpose, students thrive. She is committed to integrating life skills and career tech education into every classroom, to ensure that students graduate prepared for success beyond high school. Armbruster also prioritizes transparency and equity to amplify community voices in every level of district decision-making.
