Kara Coates is seeking her first elected office and is doing so with a passion for investing in future generations. Walking the talk, Kara represents her community as a volunteer member of the Gahanna-Jefferson Schools Master Facilities Planning Committee, where she works with teachers, parents, and school administration to create facilities that support innovative programming. Kara has served 15 years with OhioHealth as a Director of Marketing Communications. Her professional and volunteer experience arms her with programming, budget planning, goal setting, and measurement skills that will serve her well as a member of the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education. As her children head off to college, Kara says “I have witnessed the power and strength of our Gahanna-Jefferson community coming together…and I want to be part of (its) future.”
