JoAnne M. Berkowitz is running for Trustee because she believes her community deserves leadership that provides clear and timely communication, respectful, honest leadership, and a trustee who puts the interests of the constituent first.

As a teacher, principal, school district administrator, business owner, and longtime Medina resident, JoAnn Berkowitz knows how to solve problems with people—not for them. As Trustee, she will bring that same approach to township government.

As Trustee, JoAnn will aim to create a community with a strong communication system that allows for a clear method for the community to share their concerns and thoughts. That connects the community and helps people understand what is happening in township government. Overall, her vision is to “level up” for Medina’s township residents. JoAnn is ready to be a champion for Matriots’ values and the voices of her constituents in office.
