Jessica Miranda is running for re-election as Hamilton County Auditor. She is a passionate advocate for equality in public education, working to ensure students have access to quality education and that schools receive the funding they need.

Before becoming Hamilton County Auditor, Miranda served in the Ohio House of Representatives, where she championed legislation addressing gun storage, education funding, and mental health initiatives. She successfully passed three pieces of legislation focused on raising awareness of veteran suicide, honoring fallen officer Kaia L. Grant in the City of Springdale, and providing religious accommodations for students in higher education. She also served as Ohio House Democratic Whip.

Miranda previously served as President of the Winton Woods City School Board, where she improved curriculum standards and led the district in implementing full-time preschool and kindergarten initiatives. Her commitment to public service and education has earned her numerous awards, including the 2023 Early Childhood Champion Award from Groundwork Ohio and recognition as one of the Council of State Governments’ 20 Under 40 in 2023.
